July and August 2008 State Holiday Closings

Listed below are state government office closures for the months of July and August. This information was provided by each state as of July 1, 2008, and may be subject to change without CSC's knowledge. CSC will update this information as we become aware of any changes. (Please note that court, county and local jurisdictions may vary.)

July 24 (Thursday)

Motor Vehicle Updates

District of Columbia

A Safety/Emissions Inspection must be provided when registering an out of state vehicle. The only exception is if it is a new vehicle that has not been titled. An original or a copy will be accepted. The only inspection station located in the District of Columbia is on Half Street in Southwest DC.

Washington

WA will not accept a separate Odometer Disclosure Statement from another State. The Odometer Disclosure must be completed on the MSO/TITLE or on the green WA Odometer Disclosure Form (TD-420-006).
